Data deletion
You can manage a connection through Confía 360, revoke permissions through Meta or exercise rights over other account data. Here we explain what happens in each case.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
1. Manage a connection through Confía 360
From Connections you can choose to disconnect or delete a connected social account.
- Disconnect: immediately blocks publications and schedules final disconnection for 7 days later. During that period you can restore the connection.
- Disconnect now: stops the connection immediately. To publish again, you must reconnect the network.
- Delete connection: immediately blocks publications and schedules deletion of the connection and related publications for 7 days later. You can restore it during the grace period.
- Delete now: immediately deletes the connection and related publications. This action cannot be restored.
When disconnection or deletion cancels pending, scheduled or queued publications, restoring the connection does not automatically reactivate those publications.
If you schedule disconnection or deletion through Confía 360, you can view the status and planned date directly in your account. When deletion completes, the connection disappears from your list.
2. Revoke a connection through Instagram or Facebook
You can also revoke Confía 360’s access through Meta’s application or permission controls for Instagram or Facebook. The exact location of these controls may change over time.
When you revoke access through Meta, Confía 360 handles that request when it receives the corresponding confirmation. This action does not use the 7-day grace period available for actions started within Confía 360.
3. Deletion request sent by Meta
This process is separate from Delete connection within Confía 360. When Meta sends a valid data deletion request, Confía 360 performs the corresponding deletion.
You do not need to provide your Instagram or Facebook password for a request started through Meta to be handled.
4. What happens to connection data
Disconnection retains related history but prevents further publishing through that account. Deletion removes the connection and related publications on the planned date, or immediately if you choose Delete now.
Other Confía 360 account data, such as business information or configuration preferences, are not automatically included in connection deletion and may require a separate request.
5. Request additional deletion or exercise rights
To request access, rectification, cancellation, objection or deletion concerning other account data, use juancapuanolopez@gmail.com. Identify the email address associated with your account and clearly describe the information you want reviewed or deleted.
We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before carrying out a request affecting account data.
6. Before disconnecting or deleting
- As soon as scheduled disconnection or deletion starts, the connection can no longer publish.
- Pending, scheduled or queued publications may be cancelled and are not restored automatically.
- A publication already delivered to Instagram or Facebook may remain on that network until you delete it there or the platform removes it.
- Deleting data in Confía 360 does not replace the privacy and deletion controls Meta maintains for Instagram and Facebook under its own control.
7. Protection against fraudulent requests
To protect your account, a deletion request may require identity verification before execution.
